ANZAC Day Trading Update

On this day of commemoration (25/04/2025), Glendale City Centre will be closed. Exempt retailer trading hours may vary, please check with individual retailers prior to your visit.

This year brings an update to the operating restrictions for certain businesses on ANZAC Day. The changes, introduced under the Retail Trading Amendment (ANZAC Day Trading Hours) Act 2024, impact retail premises without a relevant exemption.

Key points to note:

• Non-exempt retail shops are now prohibited from opening after 1:00pm on ANZAC Day.
• Some businesses that were previously allowed to open will now need to remain closed for the entire day
