Samaritans Giving Tree

Spread joy this holiday season with the Samaritans Christmas Giving Tree!

The holiday season is upon us, and itโ€™s the perfect time to spread joy and make a difference in our community. This year, we are excited to announce the launch of our Christmas Giving Tree in partnership with the Samaritans.

What is the Christmas Giving Tree?

The Christmas Giving Tree is a wonderful initiative aimed at bringing smiles to the faces of those in need. From November 3rd until December 7th, you can visit our Giving Tree at Glendale City Centre, and donate a gift that will go directly to someone in need this Christmas.

How Can You Participate?

  1. Purchase a gift: Read below for a list of suggested gifts
  2. Visit the Giving Tree: Located outside Coles
  3. Drop Off Your Gift: Place your unwrapped gift to the Giving Tree location by December 7th. Our team will ensure it reaches the right hands in time for Christmas.

About Samaritans

From our beginnings as a crisis youth refuge in 1981, to where we are today, our purpose has remained clear โ€“ to empower those within our community to reach their full potential and to support them towards a positive future.

Samaritans is here to support people in their early years of life through our work in foster care, family support and preservation. We are here to enrich and empower peopleโ€™s lives through our disability support and mental health programs.

When people are in crisis due to experiences such as domestic violence and homelessness, Samaritans is there.

When hardship or loss means thereโ€™s not enough food to put on the table, Samaritans is there.

When people want to rebuild their lives, including those exiting prison and people with gambling addiction, Samaritans is there.

Samaritans is here for everyone. People are diverse, and so are we.
